On November 1st, just days before their final concert at Seibu Stadium, a grand and glamorous welcome party was held for the members of Queen at Club 33 in Roppongi. With around 300 attendees, it was a resounding success! Various people filled the venue to capacity, including prominent figures from various fields. The atmosphere remained friendly throughout, with all the members readily posing for photos throughout the 2+ hour event.
The attendees included a star-studded lineup of prominent figures, from Sony Chairman Akio Morita and his wife to senators Keizo Takahashi and Akiko Santo, to Yellow Magic Orchestra's Ryuuichi Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi. In the middle of the party, there was a performance by Jo-Joe, a band made up of Watanabe employees, and Queen was clearly delighted by them.
