Vol. 14 is the first Japanese fan club magazine to feature a full color cover, which wouldn't happen regularly until the 1980s. The only content inside is a translated message from Brian and an extensive Japan tour report, narrated by Fan Club Editor Inouye. Although the Japanese Fan Club had been issuing magazines quarterly since 1975, there was a gap of over six months between vol. 13 and vol. 14. This is due to the desire to document Queen's third tour of Japan, which happened in the spring of 1979. A blurb in the back of this issue notes that there was a "News of the Queen" newsletter distributed in March of 1979 to tide the Japanese fans over until vol. 14 could be produced.
