Queen in Japan

Front Page

Volume 3 of the Queen Times is was released in early 1975 and contains many different features, including Japanese translations of articles from Disc, Music Maker, and N.M.E.; a (PG-rated) gossip page; information on fan club contests and correspondence; Japanese translations of song lyrics from Sheer Heart Attack; a short interview the QFCJ conducted with Brian May by means of a translator in England in August of 1974; and a review of a screening of at least some Rainbow Theater 1974 performance footage, which was included in a rock concert film that Warner Pioneer toured the country with for promotional purposes; amongst other bits and bobs.

Promotional photos of the era are printed throughout in black and white. One photo credits thanks to "Pat & Sue (F.C. of England)", so the QFCJ was already in contact with the English fanclub at the time. Merchandise listed as available for purchase include photo postcards, notebooks, and special photo sets, although there are no pictures of these items.

There is also a note from the fan club staff as well as a directive to call radio shows and request songs from Sheer Heart Attack.
